E. J. Herrmann 3-Step Entry Process
Please Note that the deadline for completing the 3-Step Entry Process in order to enter the meet is 7:59 PM, Sunday, 23 September 2012. There are no provisions for any late entries.
Step 1 - Mail your Check, Voucher, Purchase Order
Send a check, money order, voucher, or purchase order for the appropriate entry fee postmarked by Monday, 24 September 2012 to:

Entry Fees: $125.00 per school; $65.00 single gender; $85.00 varsity or varsity and jv only; $50.00 modified only. There is a fee of $10 per runner for those schools entering no more than 6 runners, who together do not comprise a 5 person team.
Kindly ask you school's Business Office, Athletic Business Manager, or Athletic Director not to send your entry fee to the Meet Director or to the Entries Chairman.
Step 2 - Complete and Submit the Online Commitment Form
Complete the following Herrmann commitment form and submit it no later than 7:59 PM, Sunday, 23 September 2012. NB: One form per school. You will receive verification that the form was received via email.
Coaches may enter an unlimited number of runners per event EXCEPT for the Varsity events. The maximum number of runners for Varsity events is 10.
Coaches are reminded that they can not enter a junior varsity team unless a varsity team, consisting of at least 5 runners, is entered.
Race assignments are made based on the enrollments of the participating schools and on the total number of runners entered for each event. Every attempt is made to create balanced fields for each event.
Coaches of schools that would compete in Events 1-2/3-4 (for schools with smaller enrollments) may opt to "move up" in order to complete in Events 7-8/9-10 (for schools based on larger enrollments). Coaches who want their runners to "move up" must call Dan Amado, 315-735-4432, no later than 7:59 PM, Sunday, 23 September 2012. Dan will discuss your options. Please conform to the deadline.
Please inform the Entries Committee, 315-735-4432 by telephone or ej.xc.info@gmail.com by email, if you have any questions regarding the entry process or if your school's computer system will not allow you to submit the form.
Step 3 - Enter the Names of Your Runners
Leone Timing will time and score the 70th Herrmann on 29 September 2012. All coaches must enter their teams and the names of all runners online at http://www.onlineentries.com/. Email Pat Leone if you encounter a difficulty with entering your teams or the names of your runners. The deadline for entering your teams with Leone Timing is 7:59 PM, Sunday, 23 September 2012.
NB: Eligibility
Eligibility of the contestants is according to the regulations of the New York State Commissioner of Education and the N.Y.S.P.H.S.A.A..
Schools from outside of New York State must have permission to compete from their state or provincial athletic governing body. Additionally, these schools must have clearance from the New York State Public High School Athletic Association. Coaches from schools outside of New York State are asked to contact the Herrmann meet director, no later than Friday, 7 September 2012.
