E. J. Herrmann 3-Step Entry Process

Please Note that the deadline for completing the 3-Step Entry Process in order to enter the meet is 15 September 2008. There is no provision for any late entries.

Step 1

We are currently searching for a new timing and scoring group to work the Herrmann as Leone Timing has unilaterally decided to go elsewhere this year. Given the short notice we received, this is an unfortunate situation. The decision by the former timing and scoring company to go elsewhere is not due to any negligence or delinquency on the part of the Herrmann directors, committees, or volunteers. If any coach is aware of a reputable timing and scoring company that is available on 27th September 2008, please contact the Herrmann meet director (Steve Roefaro, 315-525-4657) as soon as possible. Once a new company is hired, we will post the new procedure for Step 1.

Step 2

Send a $100 check, money order, voucher, or purchase order postmarked by 15 September 2008 to:

Step 3

Complete the following Herrmann entry form and submit it no later than Monday, 15 September 2008. NB: One form per school. You will receive verification that the form was received via email.

NB: Eligibility

Eligibility of the contestants is according to the regulations of the New York State Commissioner of Education and the N.Y.S.P.H.S.A.A..

Schools from outside of New York State must have permission to compete from their state or provincial athletic governing body. Additionally, these schools must have clearance from the New York State Public High School Athletic Association. Coaches from schools outside of New York State are asked to contact the Herrmann meet director, no later than Friday, 5 September 2008.
